The proposed monument will serve both as a solemn tribute and an educational tool—honouring those who have died while feeding the world and reminding all who see it of the real human cost of agricultural work. By providing a place for families and communities to grieve, reflect, and gather, while fostering connection and healing.
Purpose
This will serve as an eternal place of reflection and remembrance for families, friends, and communities impacted by the loss, and raise awareness about the risks and challenges farmers face every day.
